The College of West Anglia is hosting a ‘Return to Learning’ open evening in King's Lynn early in July.
It is a chance for those thinking of re-entering education to consider their options. This might arise because a person is contemplating a change of career, wanting to get back into employment after an absence or is simply interested in self-improvement.
There will be detailed information relating to the range of courses available and opportunities to study right up to degree level. Both the teaching staff and representatives from student services will be on hand and can advise about all aspects of this decision-making process.
Apart from courses, these include practical concerns and possible barriers to their educational progress. They will be able to address issues such as a lack of study time, childcare, financial support, other commitments and the student lifestyle.
Those attending can also ask questions and some of the current group returning students will be present providing an opportunity to discover how the experience was for them.
This event is free, although registration is required in order to ascertain the numbers coming. The use of printing services is worth considering when writing or drawing up a CV for presentation.
The College of West Anglia’s Return to Learning open evening will take place between 5:30pm and 7:30pm on Tuesday 7th July at the University Centre in King's Lynn.
