King's Lynn prepares to host post-punk indie popstar
The lead vocalist of Happy Mondays and Black Grape is about to embark on his ‘Happy Mondays and Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays’ speaking tour. He is due to make an appearance in King's Lynn in mid-March.
This singer-songwriter and newspaper columnist hails from Manchester. Shaun Ryder has become synonymous with the success of Happy Mondays, notably with albums such as 'Bummed' and 'Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches' in the 1980s. He is also famed for hits by Black Grape, such as 'It's Great When You're Straight... Yeah' in the 1990s.
In recent years, Ryder’s musical career has taken more of a backseat, instead becoming a regular on British TV. One highlight was coming second in the 2010 edition of the British reality ITV show 'I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here!'.
He has also appeared on Channel 4's 'Celebrity Goggle Box' and in his own programme for the History Channel, named 'Shaun Ryder on UFOs’ in 2013.
This tour is in support of his new book 'Happy Mondays and Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays'. It is said that those in attendance should anticipate an evening of wit, wild tales and unlikely truths.
Ticket prices begin at £32.00 inclusive of a transaction fee. Banner printing can be an effective option when it comes to the promotion of a stage or theatrical event.
Shaun Ryder's show has a starting time of 7.30 pm on Thursday, 13 March at Corn Exchange, King's Lynn.
