King's Lynn prepares for a rock and roll shake-down

The successful Tribute show, 'Whole Lotta Shakin - The Shakin Stevens Story' is currently on tour, and due to arrive in King's Lynn at the beginning of November.

“Shaky” was the ‘80’s best-selling singles pop artist in the UK. This show, an award winner that has his family's endorsement, tells the enthralling tale of the Welsh rocker's rise from an ordinary background to fame, utilising his 40 hit songs.

West End theatre performer Rebel Dean takes on the lead role and guides the audience through what is a complete audio-visual experience. Supported by a live musical accompaniment, it also includes some rare career film footage of Shaky.

The first part follows him on his path to becoming a star, his initial studio recordings, tours abroad and playing Elvis songs on stage. The second part consists of a concert complete with the singer’s trademark denim jeans.

There will be all of his well-known hits such as 'Green Door' and 'This Ole House' performed on the night, not to mention Shaky's covers of tracks by the likes of Eddie Cochran.

Tickets cost £27.00 inclusive of a venue levy. Graphic design plays an important role in the development of a musical stage show or a theatrical event.

'Whole Lotta Shakin' has a starting time of 7.30 pm on Wednesday, 6 November at King's Lynn Corn Exchange.
