King's Lynn looks forward to a laugh

Comedian John Bishop, who is on tour with his "Right Here, Right Now" stand up show, is due to make a stop off in King's Lynn in a month’s time.

Known for drawing on life experiences in his comedy, within less than three years of his first comedy gig, the Liverpudlian was entertaining full houses across Britain. His subsequent stand-up DVD became the fastest-selling ever in the UK.

This success has been matched on television with several entertainment, comedy and documentary shows of his own. These have included John Bishop's Britain on BBC1, and an ITV show where he encountered gorillas in Africa.

His most recent television series is “John Bishop: In Conversation With”, which was well received by the critics and sees him talking face to face with well-known celebrities.

He was also listed in Ents24's 2016 top five best-selling comedians and the Daily Telegraph has said of him:
