The West End stage show 'Fairytale of New York' is once again on tour, and due to arrive in Kings Lynn in mid-November.
This Irish-orientated and uplifting Christmas musical from the same producers as those of 'Seven Drunken Nights' returns with a much larger production, and a professional cast of experienced performers.
The scene is McGrath’s Irish bar in 'The Big Apple' on Christmas Eve, with an underlying theme of longing to be back in Ireland for the holidays, at home celebrating with family and friends. It features popular seasonal favourites, notably 'White Christmas', 'Silent Night' and 'Winter’s Tale', as well as the title song. Many well-known Irish tunes such as 'Danny Boy' and 'The Irish Rover' are also on the playlist.
The cast includes vocalists and musicians Danny Muldoon, Meabh Kennedy, Adam Evans, Clair Gleave and Megan Jay. There is an ensemble of dancers, and it is narrated by Ged Graham, who co-produced the show with Executive Director Ross Mills. Adam Evans is the Musical Director, with choreography by Leanne Kyte.
Tickets cost £29 inclusive of a venue levy. Graphic design fulfils an important role in the production of a stage musical or theatrical event.
'Fairytale of New York' has a starting time of 7.30pm on Thursday 16th November, at The Corn Exchange, Kings Lynn.
