King's Lynn gets ready to rock

The West End show, "Be Bop A Lula", is set to make a return to King's Lynn at the end of November.

It was 1960 when American rock stars Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran arrived in the UK. They were joined on the first national multi-artist pop music tour by home-grown talent Billy Fury. The audiences shouted loudly whilst reviewers condemned the antics on stage but British teenage culture had made its initial appearance.

Buddy Holly and his live tours also played a key part in the development of the UK's pop music scene. Cochran's guitar riffs, Fury's distinctive vocals, Holly's rock anthems and Vincent's moody persona on stage are all present here. "Be Bop A Lula" is as authentic as is humanly possible.

This represents an opportunity to relive and experience the music of an era with professional singers and a live band and should appeal to a broad spectrum of people of all ages. BritishTheatre.com has described it as a show:

"Performed with love care and respect that great Rock and Roll deserves."

Tickets cost between £24.50 and £25.50 inclusive of a £1.50 venue levy fee. Poster printing can be of great value when it comes to publicising a forthcoming concert or musical event in the community.

"Be Bop A Lula" has a starting time of 7.30pm on Sunday 21st November at the Corn Exchange, King's Lynn.
