King's Lynn fixes date for comedian's appearance

The comic Gary Delaney is on tour with his new Punderland stage show, which is due to arrive in King's Lynn at the end of June.

This well-respected writer and entertainer, widely recognised for his one-line jokes, has appeared on BBC One's ‘Live at the Apollo’ and is a frequent guest on BBC Two's ‘Mock the Week’. A leading figure in his generation of humourists, he is known for delivering multiple one-liner jokes in quickfire fashion in a similar style to contemporaries like Tim Vine and Stewart Francis.

Delaney's initial show ‘Purist’ proved to be a sell-out success at the 2010 Edinburgh Festival and received a host of positive reviews. Chortle summed it up as:

“Taut, brilliant one-liners. Delaney was worth the price of admission alone.”

He features regularly at major venues such as The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, Glee, and Lee Hurst's Backyard. Gary has appeared on Dave's One Night Stand and on Channel 4's 8 Out of 10 Cats. The winner of two Sony Awards for Kerrang! Radio, he frequently tops the bill at clubs countrywide.

Tickets cost £21.50 and are subject to a 16+ age requirement. Print shops can be a useful resource when preparing for a future theatrical or cultural event.

Gary Delaney's show has a starting time of 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 30 at The Corn Exchange, King's Lynn.
