Kings Lynn date fixed for virtuoso guitar player

The Australian guitarist Tommy Emmanuel is about to go on tour and will play Kings Lynn towards the end of January.

This musical craftsman is widely recognised for his skill in fingerpicking, playing three parts together. 'Accomplice One', his 2019 album, included a series of duets with a wide selection of artists, and the release of a follow-up remains eagerly anticipated.

'Accomplice Live' is Tommy's latest TV special, which features many of his well-known songs and duets with the likes of Emmylou Harris. This Grammy Award nominee, as well as being an ARIA and IBMA Awards winner, has headed up a host of 'Best Guitarist' readers' polls in magazines.

Tommy's decision to become an acoustic guitarist was largely thanks to his admiration of Chet Atkins. The pair then subsequently collaborated on an album. He is also a Certified Guitar Player, entitled to place CGP after his name.

The support will be provided by Molly Turtle, an American singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist who is a multi-talented instrumentalist. She has had several million views on YouTube while appearing in magazines such as 'Flatpicking Guitar' and 'Acoustic Guitar'.

Tickets range in price from £37.50 to £42.50. Banner printing can be an effective way of publicising a future concert or musical event.

Tommy Emmanuel's show has a starting time of 7.30pm on Tuesday 23rd January at the Corn Exchange, Kings Lynn.
