The injection of resources into the Lynn-based enterprise will enable expansion to take place. It will also push job creation beyond what would have otherwise been possible.
Sharp Systems is located on Hamburg Way in North Lynn Industrial Estate. To facilitate expansion, the mangers of the firm could choose to use Print shops in Kings Lynn.
Paul Sharp, the managing director for Sharp Systems, has told Lynn News:
“The funding will allow us to invest in the latest technology in stainless steel folding equipment, helping us become more competitive, improve lead times and help secure existing jobs, as well as creating new ones in the future.”
Sharp Systems is involved with the production of equipment for the food and beverage sector. The management of the outfit wants to acquire a piece of machinery that will boost product quality.
The new machine should have a positive impact on the bottom line of the enterprise, by limiting handling damage and by decreasing costs. It has been reported that the engineers in the team will be able to pick up new skills as a result of the investment.
Sharp explained that his organisation has existed for a quarter of a century and that, in that time, it has never obtained the kind of backing that the regional agricultural growth fund is delivering.Get a Free Quote for Print
