King's Lynn awaits rush

The third annual King's Lynn Bubble Rush, in aid of the children's hospice, is due to take place in the town towards the end of May.

This is a family-friendly event held over a course, with four Bubble Stations located at intervals along the 2.5km route. Those participating can, if they wish, complete either one or two laps to make a total of 5km. Each station has its own cannon pumping out multi-coloured foam and creating a bubble bath some 4ft deep.

There are no rules – participants simply jog, run, walk, toddle through or even dance in the foam, with wheelchairs and pushchairs most welcome. Start times come in two waves: the Yellow Wave at 10:00 am and the Purple Wave at 11:00 am. Participants are advised to arrive at least one hour early.

The event focuses on fun rather than competition, with everyone receiving a medal at the end. There remains no set fundraising target but a minimum of £15 is suggested, going in support of EACH and The Nook.

Tickets cost £16 for adults and £9 for children aged 4 to 15, inclusive of a t-shirt and medal. There is also a range of specialist ticket offers. Printing services can be of great value when preparing for an event such as this.

The King's Lynn Bubble Rush's starting time is 10:00 am on Sunday, May 23 at The Walks, King's Lynn.
