The musical The Tiger Who Came To Tea is on tour and will give several live performances in Kings Lynn at the end of May.
This is a stage version of Judith Kerr's popular tale, which is currently celebrating its notable 40th anniversary. Originally published in picture book form, Kerr not only wrote the text, but also produced colourful illustrations.
The Tiger Who Came To Tea tells the story of Sophie, who is getting ready to sit down for a cup of tea with her mother when the doorbell interrupts. She answers the call and is confronted by what turns out to be a large, tea-obsessed tiger, after which mayhem ensues.
This children's show has magic, songs that the audience can participate in and plenty of fun-filled chaos. The cast includes Jennifer Addey as Sophie, Katie Tripp as Mummy, and James Carlisle as Daddy, Tiger, Milkman, and Postman.
It is an Olivier Award-nominee and West End hit, adapted for the stage with lyrics and music by David Wood, who also directs the show. Ticket prices begin at £14, inclusive of a venue levy. Brochure printing can be a valuable asset when it comes to promoting a forthcoming musical show or theatrical event.
The Tiger Who Came To Tea performances will take place on Friday, 26th May and Saturday, 27th May at The Corn Exchange, King's Lynn.
