The famous lyricist Sir Tim Rice is on the road with his new show, 'My Life In Musicals - I Know Him So Well', which is due to arrive in King's Lynn at the beginning of May.
This award winner and globally recognised wordsmith will talk about his successful career. It involves recalling the origins of many classic songs as well as recounting an array of tales from his distinctive and varied life.
Sir Tim is renowned for creating the lyrics for a host of the world's favourite musicals such as 'Jesus Christ Superstar', 'Chess', 'Evita' and Disney's 'The Lion King'. He also worked on the title song for James Bond's 'Octopussy'.
There will be a series of performances, live on stage, from his back catalogue and those of collaborators notably Andrew Lloyd Webber. A selection of the West End's most talented, singers and musicians, all under the direction of Duncan Waugh is set to provide the accompaniment.
Amongst the tracks are 'Don’t Cry For Me Argentina', 'I Know Him So Well', 'Chess' 'Any Dream Will Do', 'I Don’t Know How To Love Him' and 'A Night In Bangkok'.
Tickets cost £39.50, inclusive of a venue levy. Brochure printing can enhance an audience's theatrical experience.
