Henning Wehn, the self-appointed 'German Comedy Ambassador in London' is on tour with his show 'Acid Wehn' and is due to appear in King's Lynn towards the end of February.
This funny man, who hails from North Rhine-Westphalia, was employed in customer relations prior to choosing a career in stand-up. He initially relocated to Britain and obtained a marketing post with Wycombe Wanderers FC.
Henning assumed ambassadorial office in October 2003 after attending an open mic session, convinced that he could do just as good a job. His act emphasises the post-war German stereotype, and much of it involves analysing his own jokes and then explaining them to the audience.
The comedian regularly tours by himself but does appear with fellow German Otto Kuhnle. Indeed, in 2009 their show garnered a Barry Award nomination at the Melbourne Comedy Festival. He has also acted as support for Stuart Lee.
Henning's media appearances include 'Live At The Apollo', 'Would I Lie To You', and BBC Radio 5 Live's ' Fighting Talk' as well as a role in the romantic film comedy movie 'One Night in Bath'.
Tickets cost £26.50 inclusive of a transaction fee. Banner printing can be effective when it comes to the promotion of a stage show or theatrical event.
Henning Wehn's gig has a starting time of 8.00 pm on Thursday 20th February at Corn Exchange, King's Lynn.
