Hospital Walk has been selected as the location for the Citizens Advice office. Stationery printing in King’s Lynn may get a boost from the opening of the local service. Steve Cheshire, the chief executive, told Lynn News:
“We were concerned that while we worked through negotiations for our permanent home, the people of the borough were without a face-to-face service. Although our telephone service has been well-used by clients in the area, it will be great to be able to sit down once again with people of the borough to sort out their problems.”
Initially, the new centre will only be open two days per week. However, there is a desire to acquire bigger premises. If more extensive facilities are obtained by the organisation, it may then be practical to extend the opening hours to the public. Even before a larger office can be accessed, there is talk of moving towards a three-day service.
Christopher Claxton-Shirley, a local supervisor, has revealed that the service has been looking at the best practices of offices in other parts of the country. It seems that a model created in the West Cheshire area has caught the eye of Claxton-Shirley.
The initiative would not have been feasible without the work of volunteers. The contribution of Norfolk County Council (NCC) has also been of importance.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
