Americana folk singer has King's Lynn date

Arriving with her show ‘Lady Nade Sings Nina Simone’, an acclaimed artist is due to give a live performance in King's Lynn in mid-July.

A singer/songwriter and an award-winner, she has a trilogy of album releases under her belt. She has gained praise from both fans and critics, including positive reviews from Americana UK and Folk Radio, among others.

Nade’s voice has frequently been compared to that of Nina Simone, an artist who had an appeal that crossed cultural boundaries, genres and age groups. She was noted for singing songs with a message, of love, hope and freedom. Lady Nade now pays a musical tribute on stage to the late artist.

As a vocalist, Nade captures Simone's sound, bringing together jazz, blues, folk and gospel - all important influences for both. She is supported in doing so by first-class musicians.

Nade’s most recent LP “Willing” was listed on the official Folk charts, as well as the Americana chart. Indeed, the title track single released as a single won the 2022 UK Song of the Year at the UK Americana Awards.
