70s pop legend to appear in King's Lynn

British veteran singer/songwriter, Leo Sayer, is embarking on his 'Still Feel Like Dancing' tour in the UK and is due to arrive in King's Lynn at the beginning of October.

Born in Shoreham-by-sea, Sussex, his career has now spanned five decades, first singing as a choir boy and then with various local bands. He initially trained as a commercial graphic designer, prior to moving to London in 1967, and once there began writing, subsequently forming a group called Patches.

Under the management of Adam Faith, who took him on as a solo artist, Leo reached No.1 in the UK singles chart in 1973 with the song 'The Show Must Go On'. His appearance in a clown costume on BBC's 'Top Of The Pops', quickly made him synonymous with mime.

In the years since he has had a legion of hits in the UK and the USA that include 'Thunder In My Heart', 'One Man Band', 'When I Need You' and 'You Make Me Deel Like Dancing'. 2024 will see the release of his much-anticipated autobiography, 'Just A Boy'.

Tickets range in price from between £37.00 to £42.00. Print shops can be a useful resource when it comes to the promotion of a concert or musical event.

Leo Sayer's show has a starting time of 7.30 pm on Wednesday 9th October at the Corn Exchange, King's Lynn.
