Regina to host Highland festival

This May, celebrate the Regina region's Scottish history at the annual Highland Gathering and Celtic Festival.

Victoria Park, the size of two city blocks, is located in downtown Regina, making it the perfect location for the upcoming Saskatchewan Highland Gathering and Celtic Festival.

This Saskatchewan festival is designed to showcase the region's Scottish and Celtic heritage. The festival incorporates Highland games that have been running in the Regina and Moose Jaw area since the early 20th century, including heavy athletics such as the light hammer throw, sheaf toss and heavy weight for distance. Attendees can also explore the Celtic Market, which will have a wide range of unique Scottish-themed vendors from across the region. The festival also has a variety of locals showcasing their unique talents, including pipers, drummers and highland dancers. For children attending the festival, there are a variety of kid-friendly activities in the children's area. Throughout the day, attendees can appreciate professional performances and watch athletes and artists compete for different prizes.

Often, festivals with a schedule of events will use brochure printing to provide event attendees with the schedule and a brief overview of different activities occurring throughout the festival when they arrive at the event.

The Saskatchewan Highland Gathering and Celtic Festival will take place on May 17, 2025, in Victoria Park, located at 1955 Smith St, Regina. The event schedule and additional information can be found on the festival website.
