The parking lot at the Regina campus of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic College will be geared up for a roaring good time next month for the Collectors Car Club's Annual Car Show.
Classic cars in a wide range of models from 1927 to 1992 can be seen up close during a fun-filled day for the whole family. Established in 1984, the Collectors Car Club of Saskatchewan (CCC) promotes the enjoyment and preservation of classic cars to enthusiasts and the general public. It also encourages careers in the automotive arts through its annual Scholarship Program, which provides $1,000 to students completing Automotive Technician programs at Saskatchewan Polytech.
Along with the classic cars, the 3rd Annual Junior Car Show will also be held. Children can bring their favourite toy car to be displayed on tables set up at the venue. There is no registration fee and all entrants will be included on the Club's social media pages. Regina businesses can take advantage of social media by creating a colourful and unique Logo Design that is easy to identify and recognize when used in advertising.
The show is free to the public and starts at 2pm on Sunday, May 28th. Competition entry fee is $10 per vehicle. An onsite concession for food and beverages will be available. For more information, visit the Collectors Car Club website.
