Regina fundraiser to showcase cars

Regina car buffs are revving up for an activity that will showcase vintage vehicles, with motorcycles and trucks also set to be in the mix.

The 18th annual Labour Day Show N Shine will soon be hosted in the city, and it is expected that there will be hundreds of entries on display. It is jointly organized by the Collectors Car Club and Access Communications, and CAA Saskatchewan is its presenting sponsor.

Members of the public are invited to stop by the event and view the antique, vintage and classic vehicles, and they can meet the owners and enjoy learning about their pride and joy. When it comes to getting a bite to eat, hot dogs, burgers and other BBQ fare will be on offer. An even split draw, a People's Choice draw and fun for the family are all in the works too. Admission starts at $5.00, and while they enjoy the day, the attendees will be helping to support the Regina Food Bank.

Car shows and other activities planned with ‘gear heads’ in mind can often prove to be very successful when it comes to fundraising. Budget-friendly banner printing services for similar occasions can be sourced from area Print shops.

The annual Labour Day Show N Shine is scheduled for September 1st. Access Park will be the venue for the day, and the festivities will open at 12:00 pm.
