Iconic radio show live event lands in Regina

The Vinyl Cafe's Christmas Show is coming to Regina this December.

The Vinyl Cafe is a show on CBC radio and is hosted by Stuart McLean, featuring live music, storytelling, essays, and a lot of comedy. Some of the show’s stories feature Dave and Morley, two characters who appeared in the Christmas-themed ‘Dave cooks the Turkey’.

This pattern of the radio show is followed in the live Christmas Show, which is performed in several cities throughout Canada and the United States during the holiday season. The show usually tries to feature at least one performer local to the area where it is performed.

There will also be a dinner taking place before the show. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception and dinner; seating is assigned.

No doubt this event will be widely advertised in Regina. Printing companies in the area will probably be asked to supply Posters and Flyers to let the community know about the upcoming show.

The Vinyl Cafe Christmas Show will take place at the Conexus Arts Centre on December 9th, beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets are $52 each. The pre-show dinner will be held at 5:30pm; it costs $28.50 for adults and $17.25 for children. For more information about this event, call 306-525-9999.
