The Regina Folk Festival will be taking place next month for three days.
The annual festival regularly welcomes top musical artists and this year is no exception. Performers come from all over the world to appear at this event. Among those showing up at this year’s festival are Walk off the Earth, Bruce Cockburn, Neko Case and American band Shakey Graves.
There will be many activities to participate in other than attending concerts, with a farmers’ market selling local produce and an arts market selling handmade and unique items from area artisans. There will also be beer gardens and a food court.
A children’s area will feature a craft tent and stickers. In addition, Street Culture Kids will be offering face painting for a suggested donation of $3 per person. The children’s area will also feature parades on Saturday and Sunday in which everyone can participate.
Another popular draw will likely be the City of Regina Tipi that provides information about the Canadian native population.
Regina flyer printing firms might provide products to advertise this and many similar events.
The Regina Folk Festival will be held from August 10 to 12. A weekend pass is $120 for adults and $110 for seniors and students, or the ticket price is $65 per night. Visit the event website for the most current information.
