The 41st annual Bazaart show and sale is taking place this June in Regina. It is a major fundraising event for the MacKenzie Art Gallery.
The show draws at least 6,000 visitors every year and is the largest outdoor show of its kind in the province of Alberta. This year's event is set to feature artists and crafters, food vendors, and informational booths from local community organizations. There will also be live music on the Regina Folk Festival Stage, art demonstrations, a raffle, and a variety of children's activities. There will likely be something to appeal to each member of the family.
Organizers of the show are still accepting applications from artisans. All items must be handmade and original, and the size of each booth is 10ft x 15ft. Vendors are expected to donate one item to the raffle.
A printed program will also be handed out to all of those who attend. Regina brochure printers are often asked to provide programs for such events, and such items typically serve as a souvenir as well as a reminder of the names of the artisans who participated.
Bazaart will take place at the MacKenzie Art Gallery on June 21st from 10:00am – 5:00pm. Admission is $5 per person. To find out more about the show or for more information on how to become a vendor, contact Brittany Krivashein at 306-584-4250 x4295.
