Stoney Creek’s autism families may wish to save a date in January for an event offering autistic kids, as well as their neurotypical siblings, a chance to create some memories while they enjoy some high flying fun.
Starting at 4:30pm, participants in the Zacada Circus Party will meet some of the circus school’s instructors and be led through an exploration of the equipment and activities it has to offer. The skills will be taught using sensory-friendly methods and will give each child the opportunity to get to know how their bodies feel as they go through the different exercises and other fun.
Parents who register their children for this social learning opportunity are reminded that they will need to ensure they are well supervised at all times. Proof of diagnosis is not required, and participants do not need to be members of Autism Ontario.
An activity like this can offer autistic children, as well as their brothers and sisters, the chance to enjoy being active while learning something new. A printing services provider can prepare numerous Copies of information that need to be distributed at all kinds of events.
The afternoon at the circus will be offered on January 26th and the venue is located at 687 Barton Street Unit in Stoney Creek.Get a Free Quote for Copies
