Stoney Creek pop-up welcomes local gardeners

As Southern Ontario wakes up from another winter, its Stoney Creek gardeners will be heading to a local venue for a pop-up plant sale.

The Stoney Creek Garden Club is pleased to present its Annual Plant Sale to the community. It will be open for four hours, and space at the Battlefield Park Pavillion has been booked for the occasion.

The sale is set to be a one-stop shopping event. Those who drop by can shop for perennials, annuals, ferns, hanging baskets and other plants, and along with the options for the outdoor garden, there will be species for use indoors as well. Worm castings, which can be used as soil amendments, may be purchased, and as there will be special activities planned for the kids, it will be a family-friendly gathering. There will be special guests on hand from Hamilton Public Library, as well as Green Ventures.

A plant sale may be the signature fundraiser for a garden club or other horticultural group. A poster printing company will have lots of options available for marketing such an occasion.

The Stoney Creek Garden Club’s Annual Plant Sale will open its gates at 10:00 am on May 9th, and it will wrap up for another year at 2:00 pm. Battlefield Park Pavillion can be found at 77 King Street West, Stoney Creek. Those who shop early will get the best selection.
