Stoney Creek set to host kids safety workshop
Stoney Creek parents who would like to make sure their child is well equipped to be at home on their own may want to consider making sure their child is in attendance for the Home Alone Safety for Kids course.
This in-person activity has been developed to make sure that kids have the knowledge to be on their own, and they will learn how to do so safely and with confidence. It has a scheduled run time of six hours, and the instructors will have a background that includes both teaching and first aid.
The class will cover a variety of topics, and online safety will be included in the syllabus. Fire and accident prevention will also be covered, and there will be a discussion of how to prepare healthy and tasty snacks. Face masks are required, and parents should send them along with a lunch and nut-free snacks.
The venue for this activity will be SOS First Aid, which is located at 800 Queenston Road. Everyone will receive a manual and a certificate to show they have completed the training. These sorts of items can be sourced local providers of printing services.
Stoney Creek children will be able to take part in the Home Alone Safety for Kids course on November 14th. The registration fee, including taxes, is $79.10 per person.
