A popular Stoney Creek event is on the way, and it will bring some extra fun to an August weekend.
The Boots in the Creek committee, with support from the Stoney Creek BIA, will be presenting the annual Boots In the Creek music festival. While the tunes may be the big draw for many, there will be lots more to explore, and the whole family is welcome.
The function will be held in the community's downtown, and live performances as well as other cultural offerings, are on the agenda. The foodies in the crowd will find plenty to tempt their palate at the food trucks and other local eateries, and a pop up vendor market is also in the works. At the time this was prepared, the organizers were accepting applications from performing artists who are interested in being part of the fun.
To help provide financial support to the activity, the organizers have put a sponsorship program in place, and there are a variety of ways to get involved.
