Residents of Stoney Creek may have a treasure in their home and not even know it, and an upcoming local event will help them find out how valuable these items may be.
An appraisal session has been organized for the community. The services will be performed by Harrington Auctioneers and Appraisers, and appointments are free, but they must be booked ahead of time.
The professional appraisers will be setting up shop at The Grand Olympia Hospitality and Convention Centre. Jewellery, watches, coins, gemstones, authentic fine art and bank notes will all be welcome, and full transparency will be emphasized throughout the process. The appraiser will walk each person who brings items through the steps of their evaluation, and they may choose to sell, consign to an auction coming up or keep what they bring. The event will run for seven hours.
When scheduling a community activity, small business owners may find themselves in the market for a variety of bespoke printed materials. These will be available at various price points at a local printing services company.
The Harrington's Jewellery and Timepieces Buying Event will be making its stop in Stoney Creek at the Grand Olympia Hospitality and Convention Centre on Thursday, November 20th. Free of charge time slots can be booked from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm via its Eventbrite listing.
