Stoney Creek foodies to be treated to autumn stroll
The Stoney Creek area has a reputation for having some of the region's top wineries, breweries and eateries, and a selection of these will be strutting their stuff during the annual Ancaster Autumn Stroll.
This premier tasting event, which is a production of the Rotary Club of Ancaster, will see area foodies take to the trails at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area. Tickets are priced at $117.71.
While the guests enjoy walking along the trails and viewing the fall foliage, they will be invited to stop at the various stations that will be set up along the way. They can sample wines and bites prepared by the local food services and wine-producing community, and craft beers will also be poured. Live entertainment has been booked to perform for the crowd, and several area businesses have chosen to sponsor the celebration.
The monies raised by the activity will be used to fund a variety of area and international charitable activities taken on by the Rotary Club. A brochure printing company can prepare materials to distribute during such an event that provide details about how an organization makes use of its funding.
