Peach fans from across Southern Ontario and further afield, will be making tracks for a festival that will put this popular summer stone fruit in the spotlight.
Stoney Creek’s Winona Park is set to roll out the welcome mat for the annual Winona Peach festival, and it will be an activity that offers food, rides and other fun. It will be held in late August, and its schedule runs for three days.
The festival will be family friendly. The thrill seekers in the crowd can head to the midway rides, while the foodies can enjoy the food court area. It will boast everything from peach crepes to cobblers, sundaes and other fare. Everyone will be able to take in the live entertainment, and there will also be a vendor market and special programming just for the kids.
As with many events, the organizers have received a lot of assistance from a variety of businesses, community service organizations and individuals alike. The Winona Peach Festival will once again bring summer fun to Stoney Creek in 2025 from Friday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 24th. It will run from 5pm to 11pm on Friday, from 10am to 11pm on Saturday and from 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
