The Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting nominations for its 47th annual Citizen of the Year awards. The awards will be handed out at a dinner and ceremony to be held on May 22nd.
Businesses or individuals are eligible for nomination depending on category. There are several awards to be given out – Citizen of the Year, Junior Citizen, Outstanding Small Business Achievement (with 25 or fewer employees), and Outstanding Large Business (with more than 25 employees). The chamber will also choose the winners of awards Legacy and Community Recognition.
The nomination Forms ask several questions about the nominee, including community involvement and personal attributes and achievements.
The ceremony, in addition to honoring those local businesses and individuals that exemplify success in the community, will be an excellent networking opportunity for business leaders from Stoney Creek and nearby communities. Many of those who are planning to attend the event will likely consider placing an order for new business card printing in advance. They will need to make sure that they have enough cards to exchange with their peers, as well as ensuring that the contact information is correct and current.
