Stoney Creek rib fans may be eagerly anticipating an annual event that will celebrate the talents of “ribbers” from the local area as well as the rest of Canada.
Hamilton Ribfest is right around the corner, and admission to the festivities will be free of charge. The three days will be filled with food and fun, and it's expected that it will draw barbecue lovers from a wide area.
The public that attends the celebration will be invited to enjoy their fill of barbecued fare, and there will be carnival style treats on offer as well. Live music is on the agenda, and everyone can try their hand at the giant yard-style games. The kids can burn off some energy in the bouncy castles and other activities planned with them in mind, and the festivities are scheduled to run for three days.
