Stoney Creek area festival to celebrate local eateries
Food trucks have become a valued part of the local food service community, and a Stoney Creek event will give them their time in the spotlight later this year.
A selection of more than 27 mobile eateries will be rolling into the city for the Sew Hungry celebration, and they will be setting up shop along Ottawa Street for a day-long celebration. A variety of community partners have already chosen to sponsor the activity, and the organizers are hoping it will have a positive impact for local small businesses.
Cuisine from all over the world will be represented during the festival, and the whole family can find something new to try. As well as the food, there will be an assortment of activities, and many local small businesses will have their doors open to the public. A local band will supply the entertainment, and everyone is welcome to enjoy the fun.
