Stoney Creek area classes to feature green cuisine

Whether making the switch to a plant-based diet or just incorporating more veggies to a diet, a Stoney Creek area workshop series will offer the public tips for making the process as tasty as possible.

Really Living has tentatively scheduled its Green Cuisine series of cooking classes for this fall, and it will offer both information and hands-on learning. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will all be included, and it will wrap up with a sit down supper where students will be able to ask the host any questions they have.

Each of the four evening classes will open with a brief presentation from a plant-based nutritionist, and after this, attendees will roll up their sleeves and get cooking. They will each have their own individual station to prepare their dishes, and there will be volunteers on hand to offer assistance if needed.

The planners of the workshops explained that the registration fee covers all four classes, and all that attendees need to bring along is a pen for making notes. Each learner will receive a binder filled with the recipes that will be shared, and items like these can be obtained from area Print shops.

The Really Living Centre, located at 2060 Upper James Street in Hamilton, has scheduled this series start date for November 11th. Additional details and a registration link can be found on the venue’s website.
