Poet to be celebrated during Stoney Creek dinner

Robert Burns, who is affectionately referred to by many as the “Bard of Scotland”, will be honoured during a Stoney Creek dinner that is set to commemorate the birthday of this well-known poet.

Hugh Murray Lodge will be joining groups all over the world that will be taking part in Robbie Burns Day activities. It is open to Masonic Brethren members, as well as their families and guests, and anyone who simply appreciates the work of Burns is welcome to join in the fun as well.

The evening will feature a three-course meal, and many of the menu items will be traditional Scottish favourites. It will be a plated affair, and once the meal is over, everyone can dance the night away. Tickets for the festivities may be purchased individually, in pairs or for an entire table, and their price starts at $65 each.

Building an event around a specific theme can help to ensure it will be a success. A banner printing company can be tasked with preparing decor that fits into a themed occasion using customized design techniques.

This Stoney Creek area Robbie Burns Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm on January 20th at 1555 Upper Ottawa Street in Hamilton. Anyone who is interested in scoring tickets for the affair is welcome to do so online.
