Free-from event coming to Stoney Creek

The Gluten-Free Market is taking place this October in the Stoney Creek area. It is a presentation of the Canadian Celiac Association (CCA), and a portion of proceeds will go to support the organization's programs and services.

There will be plenty of opportunities to buy a variety of gluten-free products during the day. In addition, there will be ‘how to’ demonstrations and cooking exhibitions. Three expert guest speakers will be on hand and will also provide information to people who wish to switch to a gluten-free diet.

There are also set to be a number of giveaways and prize draws. Everyone through the door will receive a free gift bag filled with samples, recipes, coupons, and promotional items.

More and more people each year are deciding to forgo gluten in their diets. This event, which will no doubt attract people from all over the area, including Stoney Creek, is likely to appeal to many. This might involve investing in flyer printing services to help let the community know about the event.

The Gluten-Free Market is being held at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington on October 26th, from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Admission is $9 in advance, $10 at the door, or $8 for seniors; members of the Botanical Gardens receive a $5 discount. To find out more about this upcoming event, call 905-842-6591 x278.
