Event to recreate Battle of Stoney Creek

The Battle of Stoney Creek is considered by many historians to be a turning point in the war of 1812, and a historically themed activity will recreate this event, with local people invited to attend.

The whole family may enjoy attending the Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek, which will be performed by costumed reenactors. It is being presented to the community by Battlefield House Museum, and it has a full agenda in the works.

Those who attend the festivities will be able to view the actors in period costume, and both the British and American forces will be represented. This will be accompanied by an encampment with demonstrations, merchant tables, live entertainment and games, and food will be available for purchase on site. The festivities will run for around 12 hours, and entry to the venue is free. This also includes admission to the museum.

A banner printing company will be able to help produce informative and decorative banners for a community event like this one.

The 2023 Re-Enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek will be held on Friday, June 16th. It will be offering the public a chance to step back in time to 1813 at no cost at 77 King Street West in Hamilton, and it will take place from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm.
