Easter egg hunt with 10,000 chocolate eggs

Hop on over to the Players Paradise Sports Complex in Stoney Creek for a fun-filled day for the whole family. The second annual Good Friday Easter Egg Hunt, put on by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hamilton, will get underway on Friday, April 16th, 2012.

10,000 chocolate eggs will be hidden at the venue and only 250 tickets will be sold. The first session, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon is for children aged five and under, while the afternoon session, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, is for children six years of age and up. Dividing the kids up into age groups should ensure that no children will be without some of the ten thousand hidden eggs.

Other attractions at the Easter Egg Hunt will be three bouncy castles, games on the field, face painting and kids entertainers. Raffles for both children and adults are also included. There will even be a visit from the Easter Bunny and a Disney character. Admission to the event is only $5.00 for members of the Boys and Girls Club, and parents are free.

More details can be found at the K Boys and Girls Club website. A flyer printing of the Players Paradise Sports Complex, along with a map, can be printed off online. A Google map along with written instructions to the complex located near the QEW and Fruitland Road are also on the website.

Proceeds from the event will support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hamilton, a not-for-profit community group fostering the values of inclusion and opportunity, respect and belonging, empowerment, collaboration and speaking out.
