Annual Stoney Creek luncheon with mayor set to return
A luncheon that will bring members of the Stoney Creek business community together to learn more about the future of their area is in the works, and it promises to be an occasion that is both informative and entertaining.
This annual event will see Hamilton’s Mayor address the assembled group to discuss the issues being faced by the city and the plans being made to address them. Business and community leaders will also be in attendance, and there will be time for the attendees to mingle and meet one another, perhaps exchanging business cards and other items in the process.
During the Mayor’s remarks, details will be provided about the economic progress that has been made in Stoney Creek and the surrounding Hamilton neighborhoods, and the vision for its future will also be shared. Budgetary and infrastructure issues will also be reviewed, including what’s on the horizon for the expanding GO mass transit system.
This yearly event is being planned by the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce, and both its membership and nonmembers alike are all encouraged to participate.
Guests of the luncheon are asked to arrive by no later than 11:30 am on Thursday, November 8, as this is when the event is scheduled to begin. It will be taking place at Winona Vine Estates.
