All aboard for family fun at Stoney Creek
Stoney Creek families who are looking for some cold weather fun can enjoy a train ride at a local attraction.
The Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) Express is now open for the holiday season, and tickets to hop aboard are $5 each. The rides will last for between 10 and 20 minutes, and it will give the public an opportunity to experience the gardens from a new point of view.
While the passengers are waiting for their ride, they will be welcome to stop by The Greenhouse Cafe for a hot chocolate and a cookie, and these will be available for purchase in addition to the train tickets. The rides will be allotted on a first come, first served basis, and they may be cancelled in cases of bad weather.
The management of the gardens have explained that for the safety of all its guests, COVID-19 prevention protocols have been put into place. Printing services can prepare screening forms and a variety of other publications that can be used by a facility to help keep everyone safe during this sort of function.
The RBG Express is now welcoming passengers, and it will remain in operation until January 3rd. It can be found in the Hendrie Park section of the gardens, which is located at 680 Plains Road West.
