Mississauga schedules signature autumn event
Heritage Mississauga’s signature autumn event will be celebrating the work the group has undertaken throughout 2024, and it will be the 11th year the function has recognized excellence.
The Mississauga Grand Banquet and Event Centre will be the location for the sumptuous awards gala that has been organized by the group, and the registration desk will open an hour ahead of its scheduled start time. A dinner and awards presentation are both on the program, and as this will be the community’s 50th birthday, everyone is invited to party like it's 1974.
The events description explained that it will offer salute to those who work to preserve the community's heritage, and both individual and table of ten tickets will be available. The theme will be “1974”, so everyone is encouraged to dig way deep back in their closet and for their favourite gear from that era.
The planners of the gala are seeking input from Mississauga residents into who should be recognized this year. The public can nominate anyone they feel goes above and beyond when it comes to local heritage. Stationery printers can design and print award certificates using high quality paper stocks, and include an organization's logo design.
This opportunity to celebrate Mississauga’s past, present and future will kick off at 6:00 pm on November 7th. Tickets and additional details, along with a nomination link, can be found on The Credits website.
