Warm fall and winter predicted for Calgary

If forecasters' predictions come true, Calgary could be in for a mild and dry fall and a warmer than normal winter.

AccuWeather recently released their prediction for the country, and it indicates that autumn could bring very pleasant weather to Southern Alberta. It does not feel that there will be an early snow.

Partly due to the effects of El Niño in the Pacific, the temperatures should be one or two degrees above what is usual for that time of year, both in Calgary and in the mountains. This good weather could prove to make it a very attractive tourist destination for those looking for a fall getaway. Brochure printers can produce a variety of pamphlets that can help to promote the area and its attractions to them.

It is further believed that due to this year’s split jetstream, there will be few to no big storms that hit the city, and the first frost will be later than usual.

The Signs indicate that the winter temperatures will also be higher than what is typical.

According to the AccuWeather senior meteorologist, Brett Anderson, it’s not possible to be 100 percent accurate when it comes to weather forecasting, but al Signs indicate that the prediction for the mild fall and winter will prove to be on par with what actually takes place.
