The previous year may have been a turbulent one for many who call Calgary home, but now the Calgary Civic symphony wants to celebrate the community’s triumph over the pandemic.
The orchestra is preparing an afternoon of music that takes inspiration from the spooky side of the autumn season, and it will include a selection of popular pieces. The event will open with a pre-concert chat so that audience members can get to know one another, and it will take place in the Jack Singer Concert Hall, which is noted for its high quality acoustics.
The pieces that are on the program for the concert range from “Night on Bald Mountain” to the music from the movie “Psycho”, and it will wrap up with a rendition of Beethoven’s “Symphony #5” in honour of the resilience the city has shown in the face of covid. Tickets for the occasion are on offer now, their price starts at $19.00.
Audience members of this sort of performance often appreciate relieving souvenir programs, and these may be both designed and printed by local Stationery printers. These can be paired with a variety of small Promotional Products and handed out to the crowd to thank them for coming out.
The Calgary Civic Symphony will be welcoming the arrival of fall with its Trick, Treat and Triumph concert on October 31st. The pre-concert chat will begin at 1:35 pm.
