He has been winning the hearts of the Australian public as the new judge on television singing show The Voice Australia, and now Latin pop star Ricky Martin is bringing his own voice to the stage.
The Puerto Rican singer will embark on his first Australian tour in 10 years in October, with arena concerts around the country.
During a career spanning more than two decades, Martin has sold more than 70 million albums and won a number of awards, including six Grammys. As well as mentoring up-and-coming talent on The Voice, the singer has recently released a greatest hits album, and the tour will feature many of his most popular tracks as well as some newer songs.
While the singer is not touring until later in the year, tickets go on sale on today and fans are advised to book early to ensure they do not miss out. Fans from Tullamarine will have the chance to see their favourite star with one of the tour dates booked for the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.
