Tullamarine to hear rock covers

A successful band performing cover versions of much-loved rock numbers is set to perform a set at a Tullamarine venue.

Music fans in Tullamarine with a love of rock can enjoy this Anzac Day event, which features a long-standing cover band. Launched in 2005, the Alfi Rocker Band have over two decades of experience performing live on stage, and will be bringing their show to the city this autumn.

Venues holding rock shows often use dedicated poster printing services to create colourful adverts boasting images of bands playing on the night.

Tullamarine residents buying tickets for the show can hear a setlist built on Australian rock classics and tracks from overseas artists who became big names in the music genre. The cover band has unleashed its considerable repertoire on audiences across Melbourne and has a huge following on social media of more than 6,000, known affectionately as the “Alfi Army”.

The group is led by Alfi on vocals and guitar and Jim on drums, who both also play in the AC/DC tribute act “Aussie DC”. They are joined by bandmates Tony and Dan on lead guitar and bass.

The Alfi Rocker Band will play live at Pockets Tullamarine on Saturday, April 25. The gig begins at 8 pm and the pool hall and bar is based at 11/217 Mickleham Road in Tullamarine. The entry price on the door is $10 per person.
