The Change Starts with You event for young people will be launched on Friday Dec 2. This event is a humanitarian event to mark 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based violence within the community of Broadmeadows, Tullamarine and other areas of north west Melbourne. The focus on youth follows the Youth Central organisation’s views that education and change begins with young people.
At the event, the organisation will be launching "Change Starts With You", which is a brand new resource created with young people, for young people, in order to provide more information about gender based violence. There will be speakers at the event, including those young people in the community making a difference in gender based violence activism, as well as experts and staff. There will also be some great food and music available.
This event is educational and a good opportunity for inter-agency networking, as Youth Central is a not for profit focused on so bring the Business Cards. It is free entry to all, but bookings are preferred, and it will be held at Youth Central Broadmeadows, on Friday 2nd Dec 2022.
