Business and community members are invited to attend the Pink Ribbon Masquerade Gala Ball, to be held at the Melrose Reception and Convention Centre in Tullamarine, Victoria.
The event, one of many being staged across the State, is held to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).
The night will include a three-course meal, wine, soft drinks and beer, plus lots of entertainment and a chance to win a raffle or door prize. Everyone is asked to get into the spirit of the night and wear a mask.
The masquerade ball, to be held on October 11th, is among many Pink Ribbon Fundraising events held regularly to aid the NBCF.
Established in 1994, the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which receives no government funding, has invested over $105m towards research projects throughout Australia in its efforts to better the health and wellbeing of women affected by breast cancer.
The organisation’s aim is to achieve zero deaths from the disease by 2030.
Pink Ribbon events can be supported by individuals and companies, and may be a small gathering of friends and relatives or a major fundraising event.
According to the NBCF website, the staging of Pink Ribbon Breakfasts alone during the international breast cancer awareness month has raised over $20m towards research.
Conducting flyer printing campaigns to advertise events is a great way to inform the local community of how they can support the cause – while having fun at the same time.
