Festive concert for Brimbank

Families from Tullamarine can get into the festive spirit with the return of Carols at the Castle in December.

The popular event organised by Brimbank City Council takes place in the grounds of the nearby Overnewton Castle.

The concert features local artists and professional performers who will take to the stage for a show full of Christmas favourites both modern and traditional.

The audience is encouraged to join in the carol singing throughout the concert and children should keep an eye out for a special visit from Father Christmas along with his elves and fairies.

Concert-goers are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy an evening picnic entertained by roving performers before the official programme begins, or food can be purchased on site.

The event with its historical backdrop should make for some good photographs that families could turn into Holiday Cards to give to friends and relatives.

Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the Brimbank Community Fund, which is a charitable trust account administered by the Council. Money is deposited into the account to grow capital, and the interest is used to fund projects throughout the City of Brimbank to improve local communities.

The concert takes place on Sunday December 20th. The gates open at 5:00 pm and the performance starts at 7.30 pm. Tickets can be booked now through Brimbank City Council.
