Art exhibition coming to Tullamarine

Residents of Tullamarine and others in the Hume Council area will be able to enjoy a new art exhibition hosted by Sirius College in Broadmeadows.

This exhibition, which launches in September, will include a selection of works by students in years 7-12 at Sirius College. The students will be showcasing a range of mediums, including visual arts and photography.

Sirius College is a private school with six campuses in the Victoria area. This annual event's 2022 exhibition theme is called ‘Exploring the Elements’, with students shaping their creations around this idea. Creators of art exhibitions can often make use of graphic design in order to create material that promotes their display to prospective guests.

The college emphasises community involvement, as former alumni are invited to mentor current students for the event. The exhibition highlights this relationship and any other projects currently showcased by the group of alumni mentors. By highlighting the vital role of mentoring, the exhibition shows the true value of community and togetherness.

This event will take place on Wednesday, September 7 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Town Hall in Broadmeadows, which is located at 10 Dimboola Road. Bookings are preferred for this event and light refreshments will be served. Dietary requirements can be catered for if the staff are informed at the time of booking.
