Springvale Snow Fest returns
The Springvale Snow Fest, now eight years old, will be returning next month.
The festival has won two awards, the Best Tourism Award in 2016 and the Best New Event in 2013, and it typically brings in more than 40,000 attendees. In 2019, more than 42,000 people went to the event, which is 400% higher than the 2013 turnout. Businesses at events like this can take advantage of the large attendance by using materials from print shops to promote their products and services.
During the Springvale Snow Fest, attendees will have the opportunity to watch the fall of snowflakes, as 80 tonnes of snow from Mount Buller is brought into Springvale. Additional activities include rides, snow play areas, ice sculpting, food and market stalls featuring cuisines from Southeast Asia and other cultures, free cultural activities that are family friendly and a fireworks display.
Event sponsors can experience a range of benefits from supporting the Springvale Snow Fest. This includes gaining rights to the naming of the main stage, the fireworks and other event attractions, having business signage displayed at the event entrance and an opportunity to speak at the official ceremony. By contacting the City of Greater Dandenong, businesses can find out how they can showcase their brands at the event.
The Springvale Snow Fest will be held from 12pm to 7pm at Buckingham Avenue on 25th July.
