A night featuring live Greek music and cut-price drinks is taking place at a public house and entertainment venue in Mulgrave to celebrate Cup Eve.
Ahead of Melbourne Cup Day, Mulgrave residents can attend the special event entitled The Village Green Goes Greek - 3 - Cup Eve. The party will run into the early hours of the morning.

The upcoming event is the third Greek-style night of its kind for the venue, and previous editions have proved sold-out successes. Those booking to join can expect a high-energy party atmosphere and witness the Spasta Band featuring powerhouse vocalist Pauline performing live on the night. Additional music will be provided by DJs Chris G and Lambros.
From 9 pm to 11 pm, house wine and other drinks will be priced at $6, while selected cocktail shakers will be served all night for just $15.
The Village Green Goes Greek - 3 - Cup Eve will now take place on Monday, November 2. The pub can be found where Springvale Road and Ferntree Gully Road connect in Mulgrave. The event will open at 9 pm and run until late. The price to attend the party is $29.60 per person.
